Where’s My Rebate Check?

Okay I haven’t received my rebate check yet. I’m beginning to think it’s a hoax. Has anyone received it yet? Is it real???

My plans if I ever get it… tithe 1/10, pay off a bill, put $100 back in the economy (doing my part to stimulate), and the rest in savings.

What are your plans on how to spend it, or are you going to save it until the next rebate comes around? Do you think this is going to help the economy?

I’m glad you’re doing something fun with your check. And another thing, stamps are going up again???

I’m doing a countdown until I get my rebate check.

May 10- nope

I’ve found a new way to spend my rebate: a couple of windows for my house. Seems there was ANOTHER tornado last night in Douglasville and rain came through the windows. Great.

Let’s put it this way. I got absolutely NO sleep.

The 1st siren went off about 1:30 AM. I went back upstairs to bed about 3:00. Around 3:45 the 2nd siren went off. About 15 mintues later, I heard the tornado coming. It really does sound like a train that is about to go through your house. It sounded like it was changing directions because it would sound really close and then far away. I probably was in my storage closet for a hour. Douglasville sucks!

Thank God, there was no structural damage or fallen trees in my neighborhood.

And still no rebate check!

You poor thing. That rebate check better come, if for nothing else, than to make you feel just a tid bit better. I’m glad you weathered everything in one piece.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday from the feds. They said I should get my check by May 16th. Do you have a similar letter?!

I did a little more research. Turns out that even though my tax refund was direct deposited, since I paid my preparation fees out of the refund, I will get a paper check. Would have been nice to have to information in the beginning.

Received letter that K8 was talking about today. Should get the refund by next Friday. Yea… I guess. I read that a 2nd stimulus package may be on the way. Can we see if the first round of checks works first?
